No helicopter service for tourist spots in Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu government on Monday ruled out the possibility of chopper service from Madurai to tourist destinations like Thekkady, Kodaikanal and Tiruchendur in southern districts. Replying to AIADMK MLA Thangatamilselvan during the question hour, Tourism minister S P Shunmuganathan said the government did a feasibility study on the Madurai -Kodaikanal route, but the results were not encouraging.
