Tamil Nadu State revises pass mark in teacher eligibility test

The Tamil Nadu state government has passed a government order revising the pass mark in the Tamil Nadu Teachers Eligibility Test for SC, ST, BC, BC(M), MBC, DNC and disabled candidates from 60% or 90 marks to 55% or 82 marks in each paper. Candidates taking the test under the general category will have to secure 60% or 90 marks. The relaxation of marks will be applicable to the TET conducted in August 2013.
