Milk producers do not participate in the strike in some parts of Tamil Nadu

The strike by milk producers in some parts of Tamil Nadu has been withdrawn. The stir did not hit supply in Chennai on Thursday. Tamil Nadu Milk Producers’ Welfare Association president K A Sengottuvel said they were under pressure from political parties to call off the strike organised to press for increase in procurement price. He said a meeting would be held later this week to discuss a course of action.
