Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa announces relief for kin of fishermen

Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa expressed condolences to the families of the three fishermen, who died after their boats capsized on separate occasions in January. The fishermen belonged to Kanyakumari, Nagapattinam and Cuddalore district. The chief minister announced financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh each to the families of the deceased from the CM’s public relief fund.
