Alert please, cancer patients! You will no more have to step into hospitals for your chemotherapy sessions. The company, India Home Health Care (IHHC) has been offering multitudinous medical services since its inception. Now, 26% of the company’s stake is been acquired by Bayada Home Health Care and they have together planned to make new strides in the Indian market by introducing at-home medical services. They`ve come up with couple of new path-breaking projects. Under these new introductions, patients can avail chemotherapy, dialysis or ventilator support kind of treatments right at their own homes.
Aiming to simplify the lives of patients, they are formulating the system in full swing. Over 500 well trained professional staff members will be allotted with the work and the company will join hands with various equipment providers to arrange the necessary machines for the treatment procedures. To note, according to a 2012 statistical report from WHO, the biggest life killer in India is cancer along with heart disease. Nearly 10.2 lakh people were diagnosed with different forms of cancer in the year 2012 alone. This is only the count of reported victims, there are others who are not included in the survey too!
