Winners of inter-corporation schools science competition will soon fly to Singapore to attend science centre Singapore. Everest Edysys and solutions private and QED managed services solutions together organized a reality show, ‘Po Singa Po’. There were participants from across 92 Chennai Corporation schools. The students were grouped in teams of 3 members each. The winning positions were grabbed by three children - K. Chinnaiya (6th std), G. Lalitha (7th std) and S. Jeevanandham (8th std).
The second prize winners, Erikarai, L. Janaki, R.Roja and S.Karthikeyan (all the three belonging to 8th standard) would attend the Kolkata science centre while the third prize winners, A. Ramana (6th std) and S Mohan Raj (7th std) would visit Bangalore science centre.
Speaking to the QED Founder and chairman, Krishna Srinivasan, he shared his happiness stating that they are targeting to promote science education in an entertaining and joyful way. Furthermore, the QED team is planning to create opportunities for children to explore various creative aspects and encourage them to make documentaries, research papers and other dramatic performances.
