Very soon college and school students can taste baked items made by prisoners in Puzhal

Baked items made by prisoners in Puzhal can now be tasted by college and school students. Tamil Nadu prison department has invited nonprofit agencies and educational institutions to buy their products in bulk.
A prison official said, “We have asked some government-run canteens and organizations to buy our products.We are selling vegetable puffs for 6, bread for 16, ordinary buns at 10 and fruit buns for 12. There are also sweet and salt biscuits at 15, while 100g of cookies cost 20. Chocolate and ginger cookies cost 25 for 100g.”
