Prices of milk & curd from private producers up again!

Heritage raised its milk prices last week by Rs. 2 per litre.Following this, Jersy and Thirumala have also raised the milk prices by Rs. 2/- per litre.
Dodla & Arokya will also raise the milk prices from 12th March. The prices of curd and cup-curd (yoghurt) have also been raised by Rs. 5 to Rs. 10 per litre.
The price of milk has gone up twice within the last 40 days.Mr. S A Ponnusamy, Tamil Nadu Milk Dealers Association, protested this.
The association had appealed to the Chief Minister to stop this price rise. No action has been taken so far. The association will decide on further course of action during their annual meeting scheduled on 6th April.
