A sensational news that the superstar Rajinikanth is planning to quit acting in films after ‘Kochadaiyaan’ is doing the rounds! This was revealed by director K. Bhagyaraj. Rajinikanth made his acting debut in the film, ‘Apoorva Ragangal’, which was released in 1975.
Rajnikanth has acted in ,other than 170 films so far. The last Rajini film to be released was ‘Enthiran’, in 2010. He has acted in the film ‘Kochadaiyaan’, scheduled to be released in April. News was doing rounds that Rajini’s next film will be directed by K.S.Ravikumar.
It is this scenario that director K. Bhagyaraj has let the news that Rajini is planning to quit acting.

‘I met Rajni in his residence. He told that many new performers have entered the Tamil Films. Why should he continue to act? He thinks that it would be better to quit after ‘Kochadaiyaan’. He asked for my opinion on this.
I was shocked to hear this, I told him that many people who entered the industry along with him are not in films any more. Other acting in smaller roles. Whereas Rajini is still the only superstar. Tamil fans still adore Rajini’s action. He should not think about quitting. I told him that he should continue acting even after `Kochadaiyaan’.
