Plan for 200 Trivial Airports

Government has planned to connect several small cities in India via 200 small airports. This information has been given by the Hyderabad Civil Airways Transportation Department Joint Director G. Ashok Kumar.

In Hyderabad, Indian Aviation 2014 Conference commences on Wednesday. It is anticipated that, nearly 250 Airplane manufacturing companies from 18 countries will give their active participation. This conference is taking place in begumpet airport, Hyderabad.

Big airports constitute high infra structure and governing charges. Hence we are planning for framing small airports before 2020 as the deadline, stated by Ashok Kumar. This work will be carried out in various phases and via this plan second phase and third phase cities will be connected to each other.

As of now there are about 400 Airports were serving its service to the people. Within next six year, the count will get increased to 1000. Current profit 30 percentage will be anticipated to elevate to 45 percent within upcoming 5 years.

Under the 12th Five year plan for Airport enhancement, about Rs.1, 500 Crores have been funded by the government. Under the Green field Act of Airport; new 15 airports will be furnished soon. Airport enhancement works includes, construction work following the International rules, Airport navigation services and so on.
