Veteran actress Manorama admitted in hospital

Veteran actress Manorama who has starred in over 750 Tamil films, spanning over five decades, is one of the finest female comedians of the southern film industry. Fondly called `Aachi` by her fans, was admitted to a private hospital here Sunday evening following chest pain.She is likely to undergo angioplasty.
After she complained of some discomfort in her chest, she was rushed to the Apollo hospital. Doctors suspect that she might have suffered a cardiac arrest and are likely to perform angioplasty on her.
She was seen in Surya-starrer Tamil film "Singam 2" last year.
