Gold rate reduced in Chennai

The cost of gold has reduced Rs.40 Per Sovereign on Tuesday evening (April 01, 2014). A sovereign was worth Rs.21576.00 and a gram was Rs.2697.00
The cost of 1 gram of pure gold (24 K) is now Rs.2884.00
Price of silver also down. A kilo of silver was priced at Rs.42820.00 and a gram was worth Rs.45.80.
