In Tamil Nadu, around 8 cities faced intolerable temperature of more than 100 degree fahrenheit on 2 April (Wednesday). Amid all the cities, a maximum temperature of 105 degree fahrenheit in Salem and a minimum temperature of 71 degree fahrenheit have been recorded.
Maximum temperature traverses beyond 100 degree fahrenheit in several places including Dharmapuri, Karur, Paramathivellore, Palayamkottai, Tirupattur(Vellore), Trichy, Madurai and so on.
While considering Chennai, a maximum temperature of 96 degree fahrenheit has been recorded.
Regional Meteorological department has stated that, due to the formation of the rotation around the overlay of the atmosphere, may brings in rain in many places of the south Tamil Nadu region on Thursday (3 April).
