Ms Ambadia , the Ambassador of the European
Union Delegation to India ,during her visit to
the primary schools and rehabilitation centres for Child laborers,
Thiruvottiyur expressed that that she was happy to the community
projects assisted by European Union progressing well. She was part
of a delegation that included two Consul Generals from France and Germany. European union has contributed to the tune of 192000
pounds over three years to the projects undertaken develop deprived
communities. At Kaladipet in Child Labor Centre that provides opportunity for
the drop outs, the delegates stopped and conversed with people And the press.
It was highlighted that only education can alleviate poverty because Poverty
is due to lack of education
