An Indian origin scientist has involved in the research, which says that high intake of coffee on a daily basis, helps in descending type 2 diabetes perils.
People who elevated the quantity of their ingestion of coffee daily by more than single cup over a period of 4 years continuously, surprisingly shows 11 % reduction in their type 2 diabetics level, founded by a study conducted by Shilpa Bhupathiraju, chief author and research scientist in the Department of Nutrition at Harvard School of Public Health.
Additionally, this study also concluded that, people who have minimized the coffee ingestion by more than a cup, increased the chances of type 2 diabetics peril by more than 17%.
A research study has been done on three groups of people with caffeinated and decaffeinated coffee, including: 48,464 women in the Brigham (1986-2006), 47,510 women in Nurses` Health Study II (1991-2007) and 27,759 men in the Health Professionals Follow-up Study(1986-2006).
Participants` foods were analyzedfor every four years along with a question, and those who self-diagnosed type 2 diabetes have been asked additional questions. And documentation has been filled out for 7,269 type 2 diabetes cases.
