The state highways department has finally decided to build fly over at Arcot Road – Mount Poonamellee highway junction at Porur. The work is expected to start this week. A Four lane project at a cost of Rs 35 Crores   is launched by ground breaking ceremony on Thursday. The project is expected to be completed by 2011 may. The fly is expected ease one of the worst traffic bottlenecks during peak hours in Chennai.
