The Directorate of Government Examinations has introduced an online system to apply for revaluation and re-totaling of Plus Two board exam answer papers this year.As per the new system, the students should approach their schools to download applications online for revaluation and re-totaling, and to obtain photocopies of their answer sheets. Each school had been provided with a user ID and password for this purpose, officials said.
Until last year, parents and students had to throng the office of the Chief Educational Officer and wait in long queues to get application forms.
The new system has been welcomed by schools, which say the process of applying has been simplified. To obtain photocopies of language paper answer sheets, students should pay Rs.550 to their schools and for other subjects Rs.275. The students should pay Rs.305 for re-totaling and revaluation of language papers and Rs.205 for other subjects.
The officials said private candidates could apply for revaluation through their centres. The last date for applying was May 14. The students would get photocopies of their answer sheets, and revaluated and re-totaled results two weeks after the last date.
