Government school teachers to be trained in English

The English Language Teachers’ Association of India (ELTAI) and the Rotary Club of Madras North have come together to train 300 government school teachers in the State in functional English. While the Rotary Club will identify the teachers, ELTAI will impart the training, free of cost. In the city, the training will be held in June at Holy Cross Matriculation School, Valsaravakkam. Interested government school teachers and headmasters can contact 09444257308. There will be a pre-test to select teachers.
