Trisha is likely to play female lead in Ajith’s 55

The female lead for Ajith’s 55 with Gautham Menon was earlier suspected to be Trisha. And, now, sources close to the actress have confirmed the same. If things go the same way, this will be her fourth film with Ajith next to Ji, Kreedam and Mankatha. And of course, it would be her second movie under Gautham Menon’s direction next to ‘Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaya’.
It was earlier told that the actress was approached to play one of the female lead roles in Ajith’s 55, but the actress did not give her nod for it. Now, after listening to the script narrated by the director, the actress is said to have got interest towards the role. She is expected to sign for the movie very soon. Sources close to the movie say that Trisha’s character in the movie would be a very crucial one.
