Chennai Port Trust Scales down Chennai Ennore Road project.
Chennai Port Trust has
scaled down the project cost of Chennai- Ennore Port Road Connectivity Project
from Rs 600 Crores to Rs 550 Crores as per an official release. The reduction
has been possible due to reduction in the cost of steel and cement prices. The
project is designed as a Toll road is expected to be completed in the next two
years. The project was originally estimated to cost around Rs 150 Crores. It
was recently scaled up to Rs 600 Crores. The land acquisition for the project
is still on, it is now speeded up. Hope fully the project will see the light of
