The two-day ‘ashtamangala devaprasnam’ at the Sabarimala hill shrine began on Wednesday. It is understood because of certain flaws Lord Ayyappa is unhappy .The devaprasnam led by noted astrologer Cheruvalli Narayanan Nampoothiri of Kozhikode indicated god’s anger in the functioning of the temple officials.
Lord Ayyappa and Malikappuram Devi Temple are displeased with the activities of the temple. In order to solve it, some atonement rituals and other remedial measures by officials, employees and devotees should be performed. Meantime, there is no hindrance in the renovation work of Malikappuram.
The devaprasnam was held in Sabarimala after a gap of ten years. Koottanadu Ravunni Panicker, Thrikkunnappuzha Udayakumar, Vamanan Nampoothiri and Chakrapani Warrier also took part in the devaprasnam.
