Will India have fluctuating gas price soon?

The recent increase in the cost of train tickets by 14.2 percent for passenger train and 6.5 per cent for goods train has left the public worried. This is said to be effective from 25th of this month. While this issue is still not over and the public are perplexed about it, the central government has now come up with an idea of changing the price of subsidized gas every month.
The very first budget of the new government – BJP - will be submitted next month. This is said to include a hike in gas price, say sources from Delhi.
Out of the overall volume of crude oil imported from overseas countries, 13 per cent is from Iraq. Owing to reasons of civil war in Iraq, there prevails a huge demand for crude oil in Iraq. This contributes to the hike in gas price in our country.
