The Central government Petroleum Minister, Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan informed that the government had not even thought about any rise in LPG gas cylinder or kerosene prices.
There was an information doing rounds day-before-yesterday that the central government was seriously examining the possibility of raising the prices of LPG gas cylinder by Rs. 5/- per month and kerosene by 50 Paise per month in order to compensate the huge financial burden. The public was excited about it.
The prime minister, Mr. Narendra Modi conducted a meeting yesterday with cabinet ministers on all economic issues.
When the press reporters asked the petroleum minister about any price hike on LPG gas cylinder & kerosene, he informed that there was no immediate plan about it.In fact, the government had not even thought about it.
This has brought an end to all rumours about price rise of kerosene & LPG gas cylinders.
