CM Jayalalithaa handed over cash awards to the toppers in SSLC and HSC Public Exams

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa on Friday handed over cash rewards to first rank holders of Classes 10 and 12 exams for the 2013-14 academic year.
More than 40 students received cash rewards amounting to Rs 11.07 lakh, said an official statement. The pass percentage in the state board exams touched a new high with students of Classes 10 and 12 recording 90.6% and 90.7% respectively.
