National Identity Card for every Indian Citizen: Rajnath Singh

The central Home Minister, Mr. Rajnath Singh informed that a National Identity Card would be given to every Indian citizen in order to prevent the infiltration of foreign nationals in the country.
While answering a question in the parliament on this issue, the Home Minister informed that an identity card indicating whether an individual is an Indian Citizen or a foreigner would be given to everyone. This task will be taken up with the help of the Census Board.
This project is to be completed within the scheduled time and would help prevent infiltration of foreign nationals into the country.
