Trendsetting Indian Movie - an inspiring mission to all movie aspirants

While a movie can cost in lakhs and crores and will obviously need a huge producer to back the flick, Chennai based Filmmaker Lokesh proves to take his dream come true with the support of all ‘his’ own audiences by crowdfunding.
Lokesh is a young and energetic director from Chennai. His dream project ‘My Son is Gay’ based on LGBT theme is all set for crowdfunding, as he found no producer to come forward to back the movie, and as he was certain to have the wholesome freedom of shooting the script the way he wants.
The crowdfunding campaign was launched on 11th July 2014 and unimaginably, in just 4 days of launch, the team received a huge sum of Rs 1 lakh from people across the country. The trailer video on Youtube went viral with more than 4000 views and counting.
Popular south Indian actress Anupama Kumar is said to play the lead role in the movie entirely free of cost. Male lead – Nakshatra Bagwe, Director of Photography – Jagdesh Karthick, Editor – Dani Charles, and all others belonging to the movie’s technical team are working entirely free of cost.
