100000 pumps to operate on solar energy! Central government plans!

The central government has planned to install 100000 pumps which will operate on solar energy. This was announced by Central Electricity Minister, Mr. Piyush Goel. The pumps will be provided for agricultural and drinking water needs in several states.
Until last March, 11,626 pumps have been installed. Installation of the balance pumps will be expedited.
