Chennai to get rains for the next 2 days

Officials of the Chennai meteorological department said that there will be rains in Chennai in the evenings and nights for the next 2 days. There was 7 mm rain in Chennai. There were light showers in Adyar, K K Nagar, Chepauk, Triplicane, and Nungambakkam on Friday. It is understood that there will be rains for 2 days because of convective clouds that developed due to the intense heat of the past several days.
