By polls for mayor posts in Tirunelveli, Tuticorin

The Tamil Nadu State Election Commission on Wednesday notified by polls for the posts of mayor in Tirunelveli and Tuticorin corporations on September 18. Vacancies in Sankarankoil, Ramanathapuram municipalities, besides rural and other urban local bodies in the state will also be filled up during the polls.
The commission said the last day for filing of nominations is August 13.
