Now, it’s time to feel relieved from exorbitant fees demanded at private computer centres. With the state IT department’s new step, students can now be able to take up certificate examination paying only the minimum browsing charges. According to the department officials, Consumer Service Centres (CSC) will be set up for e-learning where students can also take up certification exams.
Speaking to one of the top officials, he says the CSC could be used to have access to nearly 300 online services of the state government department. Birth certificate, EB bill payment, tax payment, etc are few among the 300 online services.
The department also has plans to expand their service and include facilities such as tele-education. With this, students will be able to undergo online courses at these centers and can also take up tests like entrance test for private universities.
These centers can also be used by students to take up computer certification tests.
