Ola Cabs offers air-conditioned taxi at autorickshaw rates

Ola Cabs has introduced in Chennai a new Mini taxi service with air-conditioned Tata Indica cars with the same fare structure as autorickshaws, namely Rs. 100 for the first 5 kilometres and Rs. 12 per kilometre thereafter. There will, however, be an additional flat charge of Rs.50 if the pick-up time is during the peak hours between 7 a.m and 10 a.m or between 4 p.m and 7 p.m.
You can book a taxi in advance from your mobile phone using the special Ola App which can be downloaded from Apple Store (for iPhone) or Google Play (for Android phones) or Windows Store (for Windows phones). Ola Cabs also offers Sedan taxis (Tata Indigo) at fares of Rs. 150 for the first 6 km and Rs. 16 per additional km. It also offers Prime taxis (Toyota Innova) at fares of Rs.150 for the first 5 km and Rs. 18 per additional km. The phone number of Ola Taxis is (044) 3355 3355.
