Diabetes screening for blind persons

MV Hospital for Diabetes will begin screening visually-impaired persons for diabetes.
Vijay Viswanathan, head and chief diabetologist, said, as part of their North Chennai Diabetes Control Programme, the hospital would screen visually-impaired persons, in association with the National Federation of the Blind and the Directorate for the Rehabilitation of Differently-Abled Persons.
