2700 Calories required daily for a healthy & long life!

We are all aware that excess intake of calories leads to putting on more weight. It has been established that 2700 calories are required every day for a healthy & long life.
 
According the extent of high quantum of physical exercises required in one’s job, the requirement of calories per day varies from 3000 to 4000 calories.
 
Children require around 500 calories on a daily basis. The measure of calories varies for different food items. For example, 100 gm of wheat produces 384 calories. 100 gm of banana gives 76 calories. 100 gm egg gives 155 calories. 100 gm of milk gives 65 calories.
 
As per this table, we can decide on the food items to be taken to ensure that sufficient calories will be generated for a healthy life.
 
If the calories taken are less than the required quantity, it will lead to loss of body weight. If more calories are taken, it will lead to gain in weight.
