4.6 per cent increase in tax collected this year

In the current financial year, over Rs 1,94,492 crore of tax is received through indirect tax collection, say statistic reports. This is 4.6 per cent higher than previous years. During last year, the overall tax collection was only Rs 1,85,881 crore.
