Superstar Rajnikanth makes history as the very first star in cine field to march towards to court for protecting his personal rights. Shivaji Rao Gaikward who is called Rajnikanth in film industry moved to the Madras High Court wanting to stop the release and screening of ‘Main Hoon Rajnikanth’, a Hindi biopic pointing it that it infringes his ‘personality rights’ which showcases him as a CBI officer, a part time social worker and a part time contract killer too.
On hearing the actor’s petition, Justice S Tamilvanan before whom the suit came up said the caricature to be a portray of popular actor Rajnikanth and it shows him as a part time social worker, a CBI officer, part time contract killer and further, as a womanizer.
The actor’s petition added that he doesn’t want to endorse any movie or write-up that uses his name or personality as it might mislead all his fans.
