The Ministry of Finance has released a report informing that the conditions for joining Jandhan Scheme have been further simplified.

As per the relaxed new procedure, the individuals who do not possess Aadhar Cards can just present 2 recent photographs to open a fresh bank account.

As per the statement from the Ministry of Finance, the Reserve Bank of India has released this new procedure on 26th August.

Photographs have to be signed on the back-side to open a fresh savings account in the bank. However, this process will be valid only for 1 year before which the account holder will have to submit a valid ID proof such as Aadhar card. Otherwise, the accounts will get closed.
