Though the computation & distribution of salaries for the state government employees is on a computerised mode, generally, the preparation of the salary tabulation, getting approval from the senior authorities, etc are presently done only manually.
To improve this situation, the state government is set to use modernised software at the cost of Rs. 167.45 Crores being allocated.
In the 1st stage, all particulars of the entire state government employees will be entered in one platform. Following the completion of this activity, the salaries of the employees in the departments of revenue, rural development, and agriculture will be prepared on the new system from the month of September, 2014.
When the system is implemented successfully, there will be no problems in the release of salary by the month end. Employees will get all details like their salary,deductions/recoveries, rise in salary, promotion, transfers, and leave particulars from this system.
There would be no difficulties faced wherever & whenever there is a transfer for the employees. They can download the salary details.
With the introduction of the all-new salary software, 9 lakh state government employees are expected to benefit in the subsequent months
