Thirumala (Tirupathi) Brahmotsavam scheduled to make a grand start tomorrow!!

The festival of Brahmotsavam’ in Tirupathi during the Tamil Month of ‘Purattasi’ is one of the most famous, popular and important occasion. Brahmotsavam festival is celebrated over a period of 9 days.

This year, Brahmotsavam is scheduled to start tomorrow, Friday, 26th September.

 During the first 9 days, the Utsava Muthy of Lord Venkateswara (Known as Malayappa Swami) along with his consort Goddesses Sridevi & Bhoodevi,carried on different ‘Vahanas’ (carriages)  is taken on a precession on the 4  corridors (mada veedhis) offering glorious ‘Darshan’ to the ardent devotees.

The holy temple is set to be decorated with electric lamps for the festive occasion.

The temple is also being bedecked and decorates with flowers imported from abroad.

Thirumalai is wearing a festive look full of colourful lamps aglow and decorative arches.

For the visual delight of the devotees, a flower exhibition & a photography exhibition are arranged by the TTD on the road towards Papanasam’
