Koyambedu Police branch has started a new Facebook site – ‘Missing Two-wheelers’ – to help trace & track lost two-wheelers.
Two-wheelers, stolen for different purposes, are left unattended at Koyambedu bus terminus & Central Railway Station.
These ditched 2-wheelers reduce the available parking space while they create security problems.
There are incidents when the owners voluntarily leave their vehicles at these places and then register a complaint later that they have lost their vehicles in order to benefit from insurance!
Koyambedu Police have initiated the forts step to address this problem. They have opened a fresh page in the social networking website Facebook, ‘Missing Two-wheelers’, with the photographs of 17 two-wheelers.
Koyambedu Police Department Deputy Superintendent , Mr. A. T. Mohanraj has informed that all 2-wheelers (in their custody) will be displayed in Facebook pages.
The individuals who have lost their 2-wheelers can also display the details of their 2-wheeler in this page with the vehicle registration number.
