All central government employees will have to attend office on 2nd October, Gandhi Jayanthi.
It has urged the central government employees to follow the principles & promises of its new movement, ‘Clean India’!
During his Independence Day address, the Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi, had informed that a new movement called
‘Clean India’ will begin throughout India on 2nd October, Gandhi Jayanthi. Accordingly, ‘Clean India’ movement is set to start on the coming 2nd October and its programmes will be implemented in 5 years.
Cabinet Secretary, Mr. Ajit Seth, has sent a general circular to all the secretaries of different ministries. This informs that all central government employees should attend their offices on 2nd October. They should participate in the inaugural programmes of ‘Clean India’ movement ans should undertake to follow its promises.
In order to ensure the grand success of the movement and to create the right awareness about the movement, every ministry should urge and ensure that their employees attend office on 2nd October and participate in the programmes.
The movement ‘Clean India’ should effectively function under the participation & guidance of senior officials of the ministries in various central government offices.
The Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi, is set to start ‘Clean India’ Movement on 2nd October. As a first step, the movement should start its activities by removing all the unwanted rubbish & garbage in their offices.
The circular also informs that the movement will start to ensure cleanliness in all houses and public places such as government offices, schools, hospitals, workshops, streets, roads, fairs, railway stations, bus stations, the surrounding of leaders’ statues, rivers, lakes, ponds and others.
