The Nani A Palkhivala Memorial Trust seeks Civil Liberties Award nominees

The Nani A Palkhivala Memorial Trust has sought nominations for the annual award given to individuals and organisations for protection of civil liberties and human rights in India.The last date for receiving nominations is November 15.
The nominee should have shown commitment to the cause. The quality of activism should have enhanced the culture for civil liberties and sanctity of human rights, said a release underlining the criteria for selection. Justice Sujata Manohar (retd), Justice Sam Variava and Sudha N Murthy, chairperson of Infosys Foundation, will constitute the panel of judges.
