Tamil cine personalities’ generous contribution for Hud Hud victims

Hud Hud cyclone which left devastating effects in the coastal Andhra Pradesh and Vishakapatnam aka Vizag was recently visited by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He announced Rs 1,000 crore to be allotted as relief fund. Further, other state governments including Tamil Nadu have contributed financial support to AP government for rehabilitation works.
Joining the generous fraternity, film personalities from Tamil cine industry have made their generous contribution too. Moving ahead of all language barriers, several actors including Prakash Raj have contributed. He did not just stop with it, but has requested his pals to make the best possible contribution towards the flood. In his statement he stated that it is not just the responsibility of the government, but ours too.
Belonging to a family of philanthropist, actor Suriya has announced contribution of Rs 50 lakh for all hud hud victims. Out of it, Suriya’s sole contribution is Rs 25 lakh, Rs 12.5 lakh by Suriya’s younger brother Karthi and yet another Rs 12.5 lakh by producer K.E,Gnanavelraja.
It’s not just that. The generosity of Tamil film personalities is rising to great heights with actor Vishal contributing Rs 15 lakh for the victims.
