Rumors are circulating in the media that Superstar Rajnikanth will act in a remake of Kannada film remake after his upcoming movie ‘Lingaa’.

The star has always been rejoiced by watching movies with his friend Rajbagadur, who accompanied him as bus driver when the star was working as a bus conductor in Bangalore during his early days of life. Rajnikanth has a special liking for old Kannada films all the time. One among his favorites is ‘Bangaarada Manushya’ starring Rajkumar. The film is all about slewing young graduates into agriculture and farming. Now, according to sources, superstar will act in its Tamil remake.

The info was first popped out by Rajni’s pal Rajbagadur. He says he and Rajni saw the film together and that he suggested to remake it and act. Rajni thought for a while and agreed for the same.

Following this, director K.S.Ravikumar came up with the script for ‘Lingaa’. As Rajni was floored by it, he agreed to work on the project immediately. The star decided to work on the Kannada remake after completing ‘Lingaa’.

It is to be noted that the film ‘Bangaarada Manushya’ was released in 1972 and was a huge success. The Tamil remake is likely to get directed by K.S.Ravikumar yet again.
