CBSE objection to enter the caste details in Academic Certificates!

CBSE has barred the entry of caste particulars on academic certificates including mark sheets and transfer certificates
CBSE Regional manager for Chennai zone, Mr. D. Sudarshan Rao informed that as a general practice, caste particulars are not given in the academic certificates. However, some schools still enter the caste particulars on these certificates. Hence, an order has been issued to avoid mentioning caste particulars in academic certificates.
