Vedanthangal bird sanctuary will be opened today

The Vedanthangal bird sanctuary will be opened to the public from Monday as nearly 2,000 birds have arrived at the sanctuary.
“The rains here are poor this time and hence the lake did not get filled. But the birds have arrived in good numbers. The varieties that are spotted now are Snake bird, Pelican, Open-billed stork, Little Cormorants and Spot Bill Duck,” said a forest ranger.
