Hike in salary as per sixth pay commission

Government employees and teachers who have been working in the same post for over 10 years will be considered for hike in salary and will be provided the next level of pay.
As per the sixth pay commission, teachers handling higher education classes will be considered equivalent to that of college lecturers and the same salary package like that of college lecturers will be given. According to this, the salary will be hiked from Rs 4600 to Rs 4800. Government has ordered to take the necessary step to make such a salary hike to all government teachers.
