Rajamouli takes a slew from historic scripts

Director S.S.Rajamouli is well known to make commercial success movies. His projects ‘Maryada Ramanna’ and ‘Vikramarkadu’ were done in their respective Tamil and Hindi versions too. The director has been trying to make the best out of commercial movies for the past five years. His unique touch is to add historic content to these commercial scripts.
‘Magadheera’ starring Ram Charan was made with a ginormouse budget and the movie was a massive hit running across all theatres in Andhra for about one year. The Tamil dubbing of the film was a good hit too.
The director’s next is ‘Bahuali’ which is in its production works for almost two years. According to sources close to the director, he has marked an end to making historic films owing to reasons like troubles with call sheet, etc. He however is fully satisfied with the way ‘Bahubali’ has come up. The film will hit the screens in two different parts the second of which will be released next year.
