National Permit for tourist buses to operate all across India!

More than a lakh of tourist bus operators and the public in general have been demanding for a long time that tourist permit should be given to travel in the same bus all over the country.
Central government sources inform that this demand has been received positively and ‘All India’ permits will be given to tourist buses in a short period.
Presently, tourist buses operating in the Southern State of Tamil Nadu are permitted to operate in other states like Andhra, Kerala, and Karnataka.
The taxes and other charges for operating tourist buses vary from state to state.
In order to avoid this problem, a decision was taken during the meeting conducted yesterday by Central Transport Development Council in New Delhi. As per this, the following yearly rates were decided for operating tourist buses all over the country.
Ordinary tourist buses – Rs. 50000/-.
Deluxe buses – Rs. 75000/-.
Super deluxe buses – Rs. 100000/-.
