Residents belonging to places at outer areas of the city will no longer have to complaint about the interrupted or low range broadband services. For all the broadband issues you face, the Indian Railway’s unit ‘Railwire’ has now come up with a solution.

Railwire began selling excess bandwidth a few years ago in the city. This is now all set to broaden their market and is ardent about providing internet to corporate giants. Comparing its clientele with that of private providers, it has a very low number of just 5000. This counts only to 20 per cent of the total number of clients.

Speaking about this, Mr. R.Bhaskaran, group general manager of Arasu Cable said Railwire is getting associated with the local cable TV operators and franchisees for expanding its service. The backbone of Railwire’s network is the rail track or optic fibre that runs parallel to it. The routing for distribution will be done from there.

Sharing his confidence about Railwire’s service, Mr Bhaskaran said the charges with Railwire may seem costlier, but when people use our services once, they will never leave us at all.
