Indian students heading to the US for education is on the high

As the American nation is turning more ideal for all education needs, there is a 28 per cent increase in total number of Indian students heading to the United States on educational purpose.
As of October 7, the total count of students studying in the United States was found to be 1,34,292, say recent reports on international students from the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
The report also added that the overall inflow of foreign students to US is increased by nine per cent. Most of the students coming to the US were from California, Texas, New York, Illinois, and Massachusetts contributing to 18212, 17033, 14690, 8427 and 6763 students respectively. However, out of the total count 134292, India contributes the major number which is higher than regions including North America, Africa, Europe, South America, Pacific Islands or Australia.
Over 73 per cent of the total numbers from India are heading to the US for their master’s degree program and 79 of them intend going there for Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics coursework which comprises 26 per cent population of international students in the United States.
The report also mentioned that 65 per cent of international students study engineering and computer and information sciences.
